Getting to Know Web3 Natives: An Interview With Oluwatobiloba

Can you share with us your journey into the Web3 space and what inspired you to become involved?

I ventured into Crypto and Web3 in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic and since then I enjoyed the whole concept of virtual money and anonymity which led me to further develop myself and dive deeper into different concepts including DeFi.

What were some of the initial challenges you faced in the Web3 industry, and how did you overcome them?

The major problem faced is the lack of educational materials and resources which help newbies come into the Web3 space and get onboarded and this makes it quite uneasy and unpleasant for them to get integrated in.

How do you stay informed and ahead in the rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem?

I usually stay informed by following some accounts and analytics accounts on X and I also join X spaces to stay informed on the latest narratives. Some threads also help me stay informed.

What motivates you to continue working within Web3, despite its challenges and uncertainties?

My motivation is to help newbies transition from being a normie to being a chad i the space and make the most of the opportunities available in the Crypto and Web3 Space.

What exactly do you offer regarding marketing, PR, and promotions? How do you help Web3 projects succeed?

I am a writer and a public speaker and I help projects connect with a wide range of audience and help them build a user-engaging community with the help of my writing.

What projects or achievements in Web3 are you most proud of, and why?

I helped a project @send on X to help them build their African Community and help them connect with other big influencers in my demographic and help them expand their reach over Africa.

Looking ahead, what are your main goals or ambitions within the Web3 space?

My aim is to serve as a huge source of information for newbies to come into the space and get onboarded and help them curate and gather the necessary information to get based in Web3.

For someone interested in starting their journey in Web3, what advice would you offer?

For a newbie starting I’d really advise them to filter the noise and select a niche they want to get into and follow big chads in the space that are already doing great in that niche and follow their steps and also make meaningful connections with individuals in the space.

Are there opportunities for collaboration or involvement in your current Web3 projects?

Of course, there are opportunities for individuals that want to get involved or collaborate with the current project I work with so far they can contribute positively to the project and the community.

How can people reach out or connect with you to learn more about your work or to collaborate?

I can be contacted through multiple platforms and channels like: X (Twitter) and Telegram. Also, here’s a link to my LinkTree: https://linktr.ee/oluwatobilobaaa
