sam hoss

Since Sam Hoss found his way to the music stage in 2018 with his hit song title ‘I Don’t Care,’ he has stopped at nothing to continually grow and make a name for himself on the music scene. The Tehran born Canadian singer shows no sign of stopping anytime soon.

Having released several singles in the past, he has also featured a host of notable and household names in the music industry. The likes of Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Busta Rhymes, while also gaining 50 cent attention. His latest EP debut release ‘Fire Spitta’ featuring guest appearances by DillinHoox, KonahRaynes, Sawlid, NMT Niko, 180Dazz, and KnoxC is an attestation to the fact that he is no flash in the pan and he’s going to be around for a very long time.

Family and roots

Sam Hoss comes from a family where creativity runs deep. His father was a singer, and his aunt is a published poet, so it’s no surprise that he is able to bring out a high level of creativity to the music industry. While there was latent creativity in young Sam Hoss, he still needed a change of environments to help him bring it out. The family moved from his place of birth (Tehran) in 2004, as at then, he was only ten years old, and the change in the environment made him rely on basketball and music to cope. And this could be regarded as the starting point of his budding career.

Life lessons along the way

During an interview, Sam Hoss gave a few insights into how he made his way into the music industry and all the lessons he has learned along the way. According to him, life’s biggest lesson should be that no matter how things get, one should always strive to get better. He stated that despite all he has faced in the industry, he has only been able to make it this far due to his positive outlook on issues and the belief he had in himself that he has what it takes to make it in the music industry and life. He also talked about staying away from negative people and environments radiating negative energy. He believes that these individuals/ environments drain away his positive energy and make things difficult. He is quoted saying, “ people will always criticize no matter, so it’s better to hustle in silence and avoid distraction and people who only want to bring you down.”

While Sam Hoss can be mainly associated with Hip Hop/ Rap, He is a great music lover and appreciates songs and music pieces outside of his chosen genre. He believes he gets inspired by these creative works. Drawing inspiration from the likes of 50-Cent, Sam Hoss never fails to deliver unique sound through modern flows and melodic hooks.

The Big Success

Sam Hoss has achieved quite a few feats in his budding music career. He has gotten the recognition of top dogs in the industry, such as 50-cent, Russ, Rick Ross, and many others. His single ‘Molly’ also hit above two hundred and fifty thousand streams on YouTube and Spotify. But with all of these, Sam Hoss believes that his most significant success is the fact that he can share his energy with everyone around the world and knowing that his work is bringing hope to some people who may be experiencing tough times, especially nowadays with all the chaos going on in the world.

Future Plans and Goals

Sam Hoss has come in with a bang, but that’s not where it all ends; he plans on sticking around for a long time. His goal is to work with all the prominent artists he grew up admiring, keep doing, and enjoying his music while fulfilling all his dreams.
