All Charges Dismissed Against Former Window Salesman Jordan Richardson

All charges against Jordan Richardson, co-owner of Solar Shield Windows in Palm Harbor, have been fully dismissed. Richardson was previously arrested for grand theft after allegedly misusing company funds while employed at CCI Construction.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office conducted a year-long investigation into claims that Richardson used his employer’s credit card for personal expenses. His former employer, Casey Cane, alleged Richardson’s actions caused financial harm to both the company and its customers.

With the dismissal of all charges, Richardson is now cleared of any wrongdoing.

Deputies from the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a deputy-involved crash that occurred at 6:07 p.m. on July 11, 2020, in Largo.

Deputy Austin Rill, driving a marked 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe, collided with a 2006 Honda Civic driven by Keith Angelo Thomas after Thomas abruptly stopped his vehicle. Thomas sustained minor injuries but declined treatment. The investigation is ongoing, and impairment is not suspected to be a factor.

Detectives Investigate Fatal Apartment Fire in Seminole

Detectives are investigating a fatal fire that occurred on July 15, 2020, at the Seminole Gardens apartments. The victim, Pedro Ramon Marino, was identified following the blaze, which involved six apartments. Investigators have determined that the fire is not suspicious, and the investigation continues.

Deputies Arrest Twin Brothers on Firearm and Drug Charges

Twin brothers Antonio and Mason Aponte were arrested on multiple firearm and drug charges on July 14, 2020, at the Holiday Inn Express in Oldsmar. Deputies were called to the location after guests complained of a strong marijuana odor. Upon searching the room, investigators found 67 pounds of marijuana, THC oil cartridges, firearms, and over $139,000 in cash. The Aponte brothers face multiple charges, including armed trafficking in cannabis and possession of a stolen firearm.
